The Rising Stars Scholarship and Bursary Fund provides financial assistance to student-athletes and student-coaches in Manitoba. The awards are presented at our annual Night of Excellent in the spring, which features the uplifting stories of our award winners as well as our initiatives throughout the past year.

High Performance Sport Bursary
High Performance Sport Bursary
The Rising Stars Foundation will be awarding a minimum of 2 (two) High Performance Sport Bursaries in 2020, in the amount of $500.00. These bursaries are available to student-athletes that are in High School and looking to help cover costs associated with participation in a High Performance Sport in Manitoba.
The RSF identifies High Performance Sport as any sport competition occurring at the Provincial, interprovincial, or National level.
WOMEN
In Sport Bursary
Bursaries in 2020, in the amount of $500.00 each. These bursaries are available to student-athletes that are in High School, or pursuing post-secondary education and looking to help cover costs associated with participation in a High Performance Sport in Manitoba.

WOMEN

These scholarships are available to student-athletes that are in High School, or pursuing post-secondary education and looking to help cover costs associated with their education.
Student-athletes must be currently competing in sport and registered at a post-secondary institution (University, College, trades program etc…) for the fall of 2020.
community
SPirit scholarship
The Rising Stars Foundation will be awarding one (1) Community Spirit Scholarship in 2020, in the amount of $1000.00. This scholarships is available to student-athletes or student-coaches that are in High School, or pursuing post-secondary education and looking to help cover costs associated with their education.
Applicants must be actively coaching and/or volunteering in their community and registered at a post-secondary institution (University, College, trades program etc…) for the fall of 2020.
